What is Saunamarsalkka?

A authentic Finnish sauna clothing brand. Out of love for sauna culture and street fashion, we promote sauna culture in our own interpretation.

“We have sauna, booze and an axe” is something the supporters of the Finnish national football team sing. We love this <3, but we also believe that the combination “we have sauna, a marshal and clothing” is something that has been missing from stores. That’s why we offer basic garments — or, as we call it, “saunawear” (from the English term streetwear).

The Saunamarsalkka brand is partly built on the idea that there are many sauna majors, but only one marshal. Finland has many great historical figures, and we wanted to highlight perhaps the most significant person in our modern history, Marshal Mannerheim, as it fits perfectly as a wordplay with the sauna major. The logo is also inspired by the Marshal’s insignia, which features two crossed marshal’s batons — in our case, a ladle and a bucket crossed.
